Rumors of an Okami delay surfaced a few days ago, but no one was sure if the title would in fact be delayed. Today, those rumors have been confirmed when Capcom contacted Gamespot and told them that Okami Wii will not be hitting store shelves until April 15th.

There is still no word on why the title has been delayed for three weeks, but rumors point to the developer, Ready at Dawn, because of their recent attention to God of War: Chains of Olympus.

The delay will affect all North American gamers, but it at least we have a definite date. Well, we hope so anyways. The company has yet to announce when the game will be shipped to Europe. Look for the action/adventure title to be released on the new date of April 15th, only for Wii.
