Rumor: Zelda Wii in 2009?
There have been quite a bit of rumors up in the air lately about the future Zelda for the Wii. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was not a true Wii exclusive title. It had GameCube visuals and last minute tacked on Wii motion controls, but none the less, it was still a fantastic game.
The latest rumors suggest that the game has been in development for more than a year. Can we expect to see this title release this year? Or will Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit and others be enough for Nintendo?
Since this game will most likely be only for the Wii, it is most certain that it is being built from the ground up. We can only imagine the many wonders of the newest Zelda experience soon to come.

I wouldn’t get too excited… they’ve said that this Zelda will be different, and we all know just how “different” Nintendo has liked being with some of their games lately. Lets hope that Nintendo doesn’t do what they did with Phantom Hourglass and make the game appeal to a broader audience.
Comment by Juan on 16 April 2008:
yes indeed, is going to be diferent but believe me! they know what they doing, shigeru miyamoto said that a new zelda game was coming to wii this year or maybe 2009! also said that he will be doing personally this game so this game is going to be great! one more thing, this game it must had been in development for at least 2 or 3 years, twilight princess was released on 2004 but was delayed to north america till the wii launch, changing the game to the wii dosent need to much hand work so i think this game has been deep in development since 2005 or maybe 2006! before the wii concept was created. i trust miyamoto cuz he created the zelda series and he personally made all zelda games, he rocks xD!!

I live in europe, and it came 13th december 2006. you got the game one week after the Japanese, which was in mid november.
australians got it later on than europeans
which means japanese got it first.
maby some really poor tribe in africa got the game in 2004
haha!
but the game was not finished so it probably sucked at that time.

Ah, the all powerful Miyamoto, this new game shall be Wii indused bliss. I trust Nintindo with my life- Appeling to core gamers and other people at the same time (my grandparents)Genius. Even if I have to wait to 2009, though the longer in development the better! ALL HAIL NINTINDO! ;~)

Twilight Princess was not released in 2004, it was released in 2006.

no reason to get excited because nintendo has a knack for pushing back their games at least a year!!!
Comment by FRED on 6 August 2008:
Juan, you say TP came out in 2004? No. Two years off. Also Miyamoto was the creator of alot of these “casual” games, so I wouldn’t be suprised if he screws up this Zelda and makes “casual.”
Comment by Miyamoto RULEZ on 13 August 2008:
Hey FRED,
Miyamoto can’t screw up Zelda, cuz he kinda sorta CREATED IT!!! I also trust Nintendo with my life and I have not been disappointed with them recently (Wii rules). I think that the games they’ve been making recently are just more fun than the 360 and PS3 (Although I have MAJOR respect for 360). I can’t wait to go to the city in Animal Crossing, Snowboard with Shaun White, Jam with Wii music, and Swordfight with Wii Sports: Resort. KEEP IT UP NINTENDO!!!
Comment by Timo on 20 August 2008:
yeah he has screwed up some games… but it seems to me like zelda is his pet project. i just beat TP and i really enjoyed the darker theme. if he keeps going in that direction it’ll be good. WW and PH seemed like a step back, but they were still fairly great games. i say if he keeps the sharper visuals, the darker theme, and brings navi back
then it’ll be a fantastic game.
and if it didn’t act like you’ve never seen a blue rupee before, every time you come back to a saved game.
Comment by Pieperson277 on 26 August 2008:
Im hoping the new zelda (There will always be a new one, no matter how long it takes) isnt rushed, and rated around T. The T rating means it will not be gay. Phantom hourglass was cool yet slightly gay
I did nt finish it because It was kinda lame… Anyways, The new zeldas probably at least a year in developement, which gives it around a 2010 – 2011 Release date. That will be good if it helps the game to be longer… Also, it is rumored that nintendo is making a new wii (Wii 2) in 2010 Because of the lack to display better graphics… And the new xbox is comming around the same time… Looks like a good year if the rumors are true!
Comment by Laureka on 27 August 2008:
To say that Miyamoto would screw up Zelda is a bit harsh. In my opinion, the only games that were screw ups were the CD-i games. :/ What’s wrong with trying to pull more people in to Zelda with WW and PHG? Besides, if everything is always the same, it’s boring. Zelda is a story about a young man saving the damsel in distress from the bad guys. For them to kee releasing this same general storyline, there will always need to be some sort of twist. I’m sure it wouldn’t be fun if they released OoT every few years with prettier graphics each time but the same basic premis. People get too hard on game creators when they just want to bring some variety into a game that always has the same basic plot: Save the princess.
Comment by Roivas on 15 September 2008:
Miyamoto won’t mess up the Zelda series. The game won’t be coming out any time soon. It will be a slightly different experience from the last four Zelda games but nothing that will set it beyond or outside the formula.
Also the game will be good. I don’t even have to see a screenshot of the game to know this. Expect something to start surfacing in 2010 and the final build to come out in 2012, just in time for the end of the world.

What was wrong with phantom hourglass again? >_> I thought it was pretty good for a handheld title. Most of the handheld titles usually need to cater to a slightly broader audience anyway.
So the “rumor” is true. Miyamoto did confirm that the game is in development, and that the game has actually been in development for at least a year now. In fact, a lot of sources say that the game has actually been in development immediately following the final days of the development for Twilight Princess. Which would mean it’s been at least in the concept stages since 2006. That being said, the game’s probably been in development for upwards of 2 years.
We can probably expect this game to be released before the end of 2009, even if it is later in the year.

I’ve heard from Miyamoto that the next zelda is set in the future rather than the past. Instead of his trusty stead Epona he’ll have his trusty motorcycle. Horses are obselte now. Also his arsinall gets an upgrade with guns and a wide rage of swords that are out of this world. Some say that the world(s) look more like a star wars idea (flying cars, tall buildings…electricity)
But i’m pretty exited. I think a change is needed to this decades old franchize, especially after ganondorf was killed yet again.
Comment by Kevyn on 11 November 2008:

It’s true that Nintendo has the focus on casual players with the conception of Wii … but it’s also true that their still pay some atention to their core players ( Metroid Prime? )
The wii zelda is probaly going to be an core game in substance…not that the new Nintendo way of game concept will not be on the game, TP had an enormous “game introduction” for casual player on the Ordon Village.
Comment by John on 10 December 2008:
Damn you people are retarded or haven’t played many nintendo games.
Zelda games have always been incredible and it’s not because the Wii is a casual console that Miyamoto is going to screw up Zelda. He knows how many fans of the series are out there and what they’re expecting. Plus, he said it himself, he was disappointed by TP and that the next Zelda would be as innovative as Ocarine of Time was. Plus, it’s going to make use of the Wii Motion Plus, imagine the sword fights. It’s like saying he’s going to screw up Mario…
Comment by Al on 16 December 2008:
Some of the greand new ideas we can expect in the NEW Zelda for the Wii:
-Instead of making 95% of the non-boss enemies so weak they die in less than three hits, a mere 93% of them will be so weak that they die in less than three hits!
-Instead of making items found in dungeons practically useless once that dungeon is complete, the items will be useless from the get-go!
-Instead of having the same, boring old wooden/hylean shield configurations that we are used to, the shields will be redesigned so that one instance of yellow is replaced by red instead! (everything else is the same).
Comment by Gman on 17 December 2008:
well if the new zelda takes 3 yrs to make it would come out in 2009 right. 9 minus 6 equals 3. 3 yrs
Comment by Mr Awesome on 3 January 2009:
Youre all kind of stupid http://wii.ign.com/articles/920/920705p1.html
These criticisms haven’t fallen on deaf ears, for Miyamoto himself commented in an IGN interview that Zelda is “… a franchise that does need some big new unique ideas.”
WOW, people should do some reading before making ignorant comments…

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (?????? ???????????, Zeruda no Densetsu Towairaito Purinsesu?) is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development and published by Nintendo for the Wii and GameCube video game consoles. It is the thirteenth installment in The Legend of Zelda series. Originally planned for release in November 2005, Twilight Princess was delayed by Nintendo to allow its developers to add more content and refine the game.[2] The Wii version was released alongside the Wii console, on November 19, 2006 in North America and in December 2006 in Japan, Europe, and Australia. This made Twilight Princess the first Zelda game released at the launch of a Nintendo console. The GameCube version was released in December 2006, and was the last Nintendo-published game for the console.[3] During early development, Nintendo referred to Twilight Princess as The Wind Waker 2. The title changed as development progressed, with the name Twilight Princess officially announced at E3 2005.[4]

the zelda game has been in production since a little bit into 2006. before the release of TP. mayamoto even said it himself in an interveiw with e-3. it takes 3 years to make a game. add atleast 1 more year on for editing and finishing. if the game has been in production since mid 2006 then i would expect the game to be ANOUNCED this year. mayamoto said that it is not possible to anounce a game until it is 3.9/4 done. so it probably wont be released until either november of 2009 or march 2010. if not then than 2011-2012.

Well i dont really care how long it takes for the new Zelda game, I just cant waqait till it comes out!and Al is right they should try to make the enemies to be a little harder and the items more useful. There is a Game Developers Conference that Miyamato will be attending on March 25. Hopefully we will hear more on the new Zelda game…..If this game is anythign like ocarina of time I’m gonna have to get my tenet ready cuz i will be outside the Video Game store until the game comes out!!!

omg…if Miyamoto makes another fuckin zelda game its gunna be the same shit all over again. Its gonna be super easy, the same boring plot, no blood, and no voice acting. Who knows, maybe they’ll mix it up and put in a new peripheral. Eiji Aonuma needs to head development on this one and make it for US and not for EVERYONE.

Although I havn’t seen anything that could hint at it, but i believe that the game will becomming out in 2009. Maybe late november early december. That way they rack up money from christmas sales. It would make sence too. A new Zelda game comes out every three years. By new i mean like a new consol or somethng. TP came out in 2006 and was originally ment for game cube. They then put it on wii so that they could use the wiimote to make the game feel more natural.(In case you dont have both versions, the wii virsion is a total flip from gc) I have herd though that this game will be totally different from the others. I hope they dont change characters though because then you change too much and it wont be fun. But i wouldnt be suprised to see a ew game for wii in late 09

Comment by joe on 27 March 2009:
It seems that there has been a lot of talk about the stagnancy of the series lately. I personally feel that the series does need some inspiration, however it shouldn’t deviate too far from its roots. I look at Legend of Zelda games as an epic adventure. To me, the term “epic” is synonymous with an arsenal of weapons, a mammoth quest, and an ultimate heroic ending. However, if the franchise turns too modern or too dark, it will lose a lot of its luster.
So what works? I like the Hyrules of LttP, OoT, and TP. They all have the same relative zones and landmarks. The sword, boomerang, bow, hookshot, etc classics are necessary. If the game turned modern and used guns/ motorcycles or whatever, I would be supremely disappointed. Similarly, I would be displeased if the next game was a first person shooter. While I like the somewhat standard progression of preliminary dungeons–intermediate boss–main dungeons–main boss (Ganon), someone made a good point earlier saying that the first Zelda was virtually an open world… you could have 3 hearts and the wooden sword and stumble across the 8th temple. This intrigued me.
So what we need is a twist in the story line. I think TP was on the right track, but was too riddled with “alien-like” creatures… and that annoying wolf aspect. Regardless, it was darker and had potential to be an eye-opening addition to the franchise. What if the new title was a tale of revenge? What if it was set in an evil world (similar to the second half of LttP), and Link was hated by most people. I think the game could then toss in some of the stealth of Assassins Creed along with the epic grandeur of the original Zelda’s. I haven’t really spent anytime on this concept… I just thought of it on the spot. But the point I am trying to drive is that the story line needs some spice… but not an off-the-wall concept. It needs to depart from the familiarty of the previous games while also keeping true to its fundamental roots.
Thoughts?

Comment by Xenomorph on 31 March 2009:
I would really like it ifthey went with Wind Waker graphics again on the new Zelda.
OoT was awesome, of course, but I LOVED WW. It was a massive game, with heaps of side missions and a lot of detailed stories.
TP, I wasn’t really a fan. I brought a Wii purely for TP and was really disappoited. It was just to easy, I finished it in 2 weeks of causal play. WW took like 2 months of some full-on play to finish.
What ever format they decide to go with, I hope the game is big, good story, lots of side missions and is harder then TP.
Comment by Nick2345 on 4 April 2009:
The next Zelda game will not be releasing onto the Nintendo Wii! Yeah, isn’t that a shocker for all of you misinformed people. The game will be coming out for the Nintendo DSi, and will be called The Legend of Zelda:Spirit Tracks. In the game, you control a train(much like the control of the King of Red Lions in WindWaker, not PhantomHourglass),and with it you traverse Hyrule. Sadly, the trailer on IGN showed Link in a black/blue suit. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the loss of green our emerald-clad hero needs. If you don’t believe me, head over to IGN. Spirit Tracks hits stores December 31st,2009 in North America.
Comment by John on 20 April 2009:
Brandon, I don’t know if you noticed, but Phantom Hourglass mostly appealed to Zelda fans and was a great game. Also, It was rated higher than both versions of Twilight Princess because it was more unique instead of following a classic Zelda style story. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Twilight Princess, but if they were to make some big changes Nintendo knows what they are doing. After all they are still beating all other game companies by 2 times the amount of sales for each of their consoles, and even though Gamespot is bias to FPS games they chose Super Mario Galaxy for game of the year in 2007 which was a huge change from the old Super Mario Bros. Series, Super Mario 64, etc. Everyone agreed that it was even better than the originals, so change is good and should not be feared when these people clearly know what they are doing.

The Wii will have another Zelda game. i trust the creator of LOZ, but i honestly hope they get their heads out of their asses and make a movie. and this time ADD NAVI THE FAIRY!!!!
what happened to that fairy does anyone know? they should be making a game on where Navi went to. and why she isnt found. that is what he will should be focusing on dumbass.
but the chances of a new concole coming out from nintendo are very low right now.
Comment by Juelz on 9 May 2009:
Well I thought for sure it would be announced at E3 2008, but I was disappointed. If the rumors are true, it just HAS to be revealed this year. I’m also angry at how only one person here(as far as i know) acknowledged Majora’s Mask’s greatness. Imo, its one of the most underappreciated games out there. Imo, its just as good as(if not better than) OoT. I really don’t see whats wrong with it, i thought it was amazing.
And joe, thats a good idea. Maybe theres been an imposter Link causing trouble and only a handfull of people think it wasn’t Link. I can think of loads of stuff, but I’ll get back to you on that. I’d like to see more unique items, like element-based weaponry or something. And also, maybe some other modes of transportation, like a sub of some sort or somethin to fly with(for far distances)

Comment by evchim on 16 May 2009:
Ok, first of all, the direction that the DS games have taken is fine for a broader and younger audience but is unappealing to someone my age. I have been playing and loving the Zelda franchise since it first came out in the 80′s and proudly say that its by far the greatest line of games ever made (in my opinion). That being said, and knowing the order in which I’ve played the games, I have a very different take on the Zelda series than some other gamers.
To start, my favorite is aLttP. Personally, I hatted OoT. Not the game itself, but what it did to the story line. Up to that point the story was specific, and dark but OoT changed all that and made it different and childish. Granted, most of what I loved about the story had come from the aLttP and much of that was written by the translation team at Nintendo of America. But still, lets look at the games:
the Legend of Zelda – an evil (pig) wizard named Ganon stole the triforce of power and kidnaped the princess, who had broken the triforce of wisdom up and hid it so Ganon couldn’t use it.
the Adventures of Link – Ganon is dead, but his followers want to resurrect him using a blood sacrifice of the hero who killed him. (freaking dark as hell!) To stop him Link must find the long hidden triforce of courage.
a Link to the Past – long ago an evil brigand king named Ganondorf Dragmire accidentally stumbled upon the long sought after entrance to the Golden Land and killed all his own men so that he alone could take the full triforce for himself and with blood soaked hands grasped it and transformed into a dark wizard (and pig-man) who rose an army of monstrous creatures and men with wicked hearts. Then led an assault on the realm of Hyrule. The Imprisoning War was waged and most of the fabled Hylian Knights died, buying time for the Wise Men to forge a magical seal and trap Ganon Mandrag (the name he took after his transformation) in the Golden Land (which was now called the Dark World). Centuries later, a magician appears to help rid the land of Hyrule of the monsters that started appearing. He enslaves the kingdom and begins kidnaping the young maidens who are descended from the wise men and using them to break the seal. The last decendent of the line of lost Hylian Knights is called upon the find the legendary magic sword and travel into the heart of the Dark World to rescue the kidnaped princess and maidens and slay the wicked wizard Gannon to restore peace to the land and drive away the evil that has consumed it. (F-ING EPIC!!!)
Link’s Awakening – a great side adventure that has nothing to do with the other games.
Ocarina of Time – the only male member of a tribe of thieves tricks a little boy into helping him steal the triforce and then that little boy must find a random bunch of sages who don’t know they have any special power and get them to seal the still human thief guy who just in the regular world not the Golden Land. In the meantime the boy travels through time saves a princess and rides a horse. In the end the evil Ganon (who’s name never has anything else in it but Ganon) fights the now teenage boy and turns into an odd tusk monster and is imprisoned. After all this the boy goes back to being a boy and F’s up time causing a never-ending string of continuity debates all over the internet. (WTF… that happened to the real imprisoning war?) It still managed to be a great game if thought of as having nothing to do with the old Zelda universe.
Majora’s Mask – a rather good/dark side adventure that did the best it could with a shattered story line.
gameboy color games – had nothing to do with the console games. Were fun.
Wind Waker – the evil Ganon is imprisoned and the hero goes away. The dark lord returns and when the hero does not the people pray to their gods for salvation. In response the gods flood the world and kill the good and the bad alike leaving only a handful of scattered refugees to rebuild on the islands that were once mountain peaks for it is all that is left of their land. (Freaking dark and awesome!) A young boys sister is kidnaped by mistake and he sets off on an adventure to rescue her. On the way he uncovers many of the old weapons from the past and meets gods, fights demons and in the end, the evil bad guy turns out to have a decent reason for doing the stuff he did and the old king of Hyrule decides to destroy it once and for all so there would be no need for further blood to be shed over it. (one heck of a dark plot twist if you ask me!)
we wont mention four sword adventure
Minish Cap – different, yet awesome side story that explains why stuff is hidden in bushes and how the first king won his crown.
Phantom Hourglass – took an awesome ending to the Wind Waker and pooped on what could have been a great continuation with lame controls and a goofy story.
Twilight Princess – re imagined universe with awesome story and gameplay yet lacked something as many have stated.
Spirit Tracks – isn’t out yet at the time of this post but looks like its taking what made Phantom Hourglass lame to the next level and making it lame-er
This is how I look at the games and as someone who is old enough to have grown up with the series I can honestly say that my faith in Nintendo and Miyamoto has been shaken. I remember a time before the NES and how Nintendo rescued the world of gaming from the video game crash of the early-mid 80′s. I watched as Nintendo dominated the market with quality and innovation. I watched as they nearly killed themselves by choosing to stay with cartridges when the rest of the market went to discs. I remember how even though they lost almost all 3rd party support they still managed to put out games that won game of the year again and again. I was there when they struggled against the PS2 and the Xbox and fought what seemed like a hopeless fight. I even stood by them when they announced the Wii and everyone thought they had finally made the mistake that would end them as Sega had done to themselves years before. I stand here now, hoping, praying that they wont take the one thing that has held me in there sway and utterly destroy it with the hope of broadening there audience and making it more accessible to children and the elderly.
If the next Zelda game is goofy…if it isn’t aimed at the hardcore, old school fans…I think I will finally leave gaming to the children whom Nintendo has delivered the market to. It will end a near quarter-century of my life.
I have some random thoughts about what would make it a game I would love. Make the world massive and free-roaming. Like Shadow of the Colossus but with towns, villages, dungeons and roving bands of monsters. Make the art dark and Ganon like he was in the first games. Make the game lonely and vast. Make the music epic like Lord of the Rings and make it creatively use the old themes in new ways. Like have the main theme sung by a male choir in Latin.
just the thoughts of an old fan.
Comment by Lucifer Scar on 18 May 2009:
If they make LoZ a fps, I will be very dissapointed. I liked joe’s idea better then this motorbike idea. That would be an intresting concept for some other game, but not LoZ. That ‘fairy’ should stay dead. “Hey” “Hey” “Whats That?” “Hey” just makes you want to kill the stupid thing. I mean, the fairy concept was brilliant, and as long as it stays silent, i would be happy.
For the DSi I think they should make a Navi game though. Where Link’s story ends, and her begins. In WW it tell this epic tale in the beginning, but I do not remember half the things thats said. Maybe they should focus on that for DSi as well.
But for the Wii, they should stick to the dark realm of Twilight. Maybe link is looking for Midna, maybe he ends up trapped there. Maybe Dark Link is doing shit, everyone wants Link gone, he is banished into the forbidden forest, finds out his heritage and does shit to stop Dark Link. I don’t know. Something with an intresting twist.
Comment by Hess5553 on 21 May 2009:
The new LOZ will be a lot of fun to play and yes chances are we will wait have to wait til 2010 as they always push back Zelda’s release dates. In my opinion the game does need a facelift but not in the manner that they tried to give WW as that was just too childish however the game was massive with tons of side quests which was good. I feel that they need to come out with a new LOZ that will appeal to its core players that have been playing religiously since the first release for NES (yes there’s still lots of us that play video games). The game needs to introduce more fighting options and a lot more side quests or atleast more/harder dungeons and as for the graphics they need to be as good as the Wii will allow them to be( I dunno about you guys but I’d love to see link savin’ the day in 1080p but it’ll prolly be decades before nintendo comes out with something like that. Also I think more controls would be a better thing I mean its 2009 and there is still no way to make link jump or kick or throw a punch. I’m sure whatever it is when it comes out will be fun just hopefully changed for the better as I know for a fact I’ll be first in line to pick it up @ wal-mart.

Some say that the world(s) look more like a star wars idea (flying cars, tall buildings…electricity)” sorry John Zelda was created as a fantasy RPG and doing that doesn’t sound like Miyamoto and that is the only way he will screw it up. Don’t lose faith in one of the most creative people in all time. WW and PHG were great games. WW was probably just graphics twist. PHG kept the same graphics because it was a sequel and the best they could do. You could see a drop in graphics in PHG. The same graphics are applying to ST because it is the best they can do at the time. I personaly believe ST will be the next title released but the Wii game will be in 2010 and is not the Wii game this entire page is discussing and yes link is keeping the green suit and gaining the ability to control phantoms even in the first dungeon. This is said to take place a century after PHG and probably not a sequel and latest John Majora’s Mask is started off saying Link is searching for a friend he split up with after OoT and he doesn’t start with Navi. He even has a flashback where he gets the orcarina of time (after returning to his childhood) from Zelda and is wished a safe journey and then leaves on Epona (as a child) WITHOUT Navi! I believe Navi is the “friend”. I want to know where she went too but, an entire game centered that sounds too much like R&C Future Tools Of Destruction to me. A TV series was created a long time ago and was less than 20 episodes long (maybe less than 10 I’m not completely sure) in other words it did TERRIBLE (worst part for me was Link trying to jump over a river falling in and Zelda being a complete jerk about it). A movie would be a bad idea from my point view ,however you can have your own opinions

the new loz game should be damn long, have sheik and navi, be ultra hardcore, have more space, and shouldn’t have that stupid gohma boss as seen in tp and oot damn that things lame! plus, it should have deeper more deadly dundeons, and for gods sake, enough with forest, water, and fire temples dammit!(i like saying damn :] )

OK, it’s coming in 2010. That’s been announced. If they go futuristic (guns, motorcycle, etc.), I will buy the game JUST TO BURN IT. They can’t ditch the traditions of horse/sword/shield.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time was a big hit. And Majora’s Mask rattled N64, but Miyamoto needs to make a big transition. Let’s move away from the land of hyrule and to a more modern time. And instead of Link being the legendary hero, let us see a more dark side of him. Link’s Shadow side or dark side should be exposed as his self or his adversary. Either way if Miyamoto took the game to a new plot with the same basic roots he would find an incredible gaming experience. Harder bosses and monsters along with the countless puzzles and new weapons would help. Give Link a taste of dark magic and let him use it as if he were a sorcerer. Just my thoughts.

to john
navi’s in the temple of time still with the master sword
if u saw the ending of ocarina of time, u would’ve seen that scene where navi’s all like
“Hey link I’m gonna stay here and watch over the master sword!!!”
And at that point I was really happy cuz she was really annoying me at that point in the game
well I’m pretty sure that’s what happenes its been quite a while since I saw the ending of the game

i read a comment by a guy named anonymous he was saying how zelda is crap #1 you need to go to hell #2 you and like 3 other people in the universe share this opinion so sthu and talk amongst yourselves. other than that what it seemed to me what people really want(for the most part) is another majora’ss mask it was different had a bunch f side quest varying in length and difficulty and the timer made you rush or else you would have to start all over lozmm ties in 2nd with a link to the past behind ocarina of time possibly the best game ever and most definitly the best game on n64. but this is just my opinion.

I would appreciate something new and original for the future Zelda game with one exception, it has to be difficult. I loved Majora’s Mask because it starts off difficult and gets harder. Wind Waker was not as great because it was easier and targeted a younger audience.

Dont be fools. you think theres down time for zelda games. There team is always working on it. Zelda games are always delayed also. When u hear the next game is coming out assume that is a way early release date.
